• It is always difficult to estimate how long a website can take to design and build as there are a lot of factors which can influence this process. Depending on the type of website required a build can take anything from a week to a few months.

• We arrange to meet with our clients in advance before estimating how long a website will take to finish. Here at South Designs there are no standard website packages and all work is tailored specifically to our clients needs.

• Have a clear plan for the website and the content it needs to show before your initial meeting with South Designs.

• Gather together all of the required photographs and documents. You may need to set up a Dropbox account or similar to allow these to be transferred easily to South Designs.

• For an e-commerce website you should gather all product information: prices. photos. specifications, options etc.

• If you have a company logo contact your graphic designer to tell them you are building a website and ask them to forward you all information relating to it's use, colours and file types etc.
